This is honestly the best Chardonnay I've had. I don't normally drink white, let alone Chardonnay, but this is just spectacular. The hints of caramelised popcorn with a dash of heaven take me on a whirlwind to some magical land off yonder. — 8 years ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! Insane pulls this month to follow up the most epic month (April) that we’ve ever had!
Would love to open this against a Rivers-Marie Pinot. A lot of black cherry concentrate and pepper. Finish is very acidic and young...the RM shows a tad more fruit and complexity on the mid-palate. — 6 years ago
Very good cheap wine. Light but flavoursome — 7 years ago

Dark red fruit, Asian spice and rich earth tones. Well balanced, subtle and silky tannins. — 9 years ago
"Le Pich" is a Wappo Indian word for "golden eagle". While the Le Pich Cabernet is the minor - league team for the Purlieu Vineyards- this 2009 is an absolute knock-out. Beautifully well rounded and just brimming with soft & chewy cherry tannins- it's a stunner. — 11 years ago

2017 edition. Best ER17 I’ve tasted in quite a few years. Very Pappy-like with strong maple, vanilla, burnt sugar and nutmeg. — 6 years ago
