Thanksgiving 2014 Schramsberg late disgorged - kept on lees extra long — 11 years ago
Great local wine. Fragrant nose reminds me of fresh strawberries. Taste builds on that profile with a mix of berries and citrus. Finish hints of pineapple. Not too sweet and has a nice complexity. Would definitely recommend this to a friend. — 11 years ago

Delicious Pinot-based traditional method sparkling wine from Schramsberg. This is en tirage for 6 years in caves and gets a lovely nutty and biscuity flavor that is complemented beautifully by flavors of golden apples and pears. Creamy mouthfeel yet high acid with a long, yet bright finish. Great presence of tiny bubbles. Simply beautiful. I do prefer the J Schram from Schramsberg (it is Chard-based with a similar time on the lees). This was a magnum. — 11 years ago
