Surprisingly delicious! — 7 years ago
So good. Grapefruit and sage abound on the nose. As well as mineral and some sort of appealing vulcanized rubber. Deep nose and even some florals. Palate is so clean it’s like spring water of Scheurebe. So damn mineral, juicy and balanced. Terrific finish and energy. — 8 years ago
Very nice. Deeply aromatic, core of acid is powerful and lingers. — 8 years ago
aromatic, white stone fruit, underlying minerality. Not for everyone but I dig this — 9 years ago
Very fragrant and flowery. Mid sweet. Delicious — 10 years ago
Mmmm....Scheurebe. Candied pink grapefruit, ripe pineapple, Rainier cherries, tangerine, white fig, lots of white flowers (especially elderflower and honeysuckle), white mullberry, red papaya. More Spätlese level ripeness here, but super delicious — 10 years ago
Yes! Minerals, sweet pear, apple, white flowers, yum! — 11 years ago

2016 was the year. — 7 years ago
A ton of apricot red currant touch of Kefir lime. Nice balance plenty of acid and tartness fruit driven but dry. The grape is just super aromatic this is really an incredible wine for very little money awesome with 🍣 Shushi or a Bratwurst or on its own. At the Meritage in Encinitas they did bring this in just for me thank you! — 7 years ago
Super floral with notes of lychee in the finish. Honey, lime, pear, just all over the place but still delicate. Vibrant. I think I prefer this over most Gewurtztraminers I’ve tasted. — 8 years ago
This wine is a vinous gift to the world. What a nose. Mineral, bath soaps, lavender soap, sage, black currents, grapefruit, all dancing with each other in perfect vividness. Stunning aromas. The palate is perfection. Juicy and pure with a perfectly judged kiss of sugar. An outrageous, holy shit bottle of Schuerebe. — 9 years ago
This is a relatively new varietal for me, and I'm loving it. Ripe melon, bright acity. Reminiscent of a sauv blanc but rounder and less sharp acidity. — 10 years ago
Fantastic! Juicy apricot, guava, any tropical yummy fruits that you can mention. Acidity is still there. Paired with spicy Thai papaya salad, went amazingly well together! — 10 years ago
Crazy color and really nice
Similar nose to a mosel Riesling — 11 years ago

Grassy, mineral, waxy, light petrol aspects. Improving as it warms. Notes to be updated.
24hr Update: Very grassy and yellow stone fruit-ish, still picking up a beeswax like note, but wow the acidity is just so balanced and awesome. Yet I feel this is too young now, note to future self, revisit in 3-5 years. — 7 years ago

Nice mineral flavor, pairs well with roasted crispy pork belly — 8 years ago
Fruit, sweet and delicious. — 8 years ago
Gutswein indeed, strawberries and such! — 9 years ago
Pure, well-balanced scheurebe fruit from one of the good guys. Delicious! Tasted in May at Pfeffingen. — 9 years ago
Baked pineapple, super ripe nectarine, a little creamy custard, orange flowers, red papaya, passion fruit, quince, candied ginger, candied pink grapefruit, confected mint. Unmistakably good Scheu-iness and good length on the finish. Can't wait to see where this goes over the next few years/decade! — 10 years ago
Incredible freshness and great minerality. — 11 years ago
