Delicious as f**k. Fruity, dark. — 9 years ago
VERY NICE!
Almost a Sancerre in taste. Will definitely order again — 9 years ago
1996 Domaine Leroy Clos de Vougeot burgundy. Burgundy course during K charity wine dinner, alongside the '96 La Tache. Such different wines to compare. This wine was beautiful, feminine, nuanced, while the La Tache was the opposite. The table was split on which they preferred of the two. This one had more fruit and spice to it and drank so wonderfully without food. The La Tache was definitely a food wine. I preferred this wine slightly to the other. — 9 years ago

One of the stars of the night. The first wine we tasted at the blind vertical tasting. Still good after la tache and the rest. Amazing — 12 years ago

No. 5 in the Vosne Romanee bracket. My notes said “This is La Tache “ which proved to be wrong. All tasted blind to reiterate. Intoxicating aromas of florals red fruit and a hint of sandalwood. Similar energy on the palate but medium weight with some austerity at the finish. Not as full bodied as some DRC Richebourgs I have had. JH said “effortless complexity “. — 8 years ago
Labeled Old vines Muscat and it is part of the Classic bracket(6 to 10 of age wines used here) of fortified for the area
More powerful than the All Saints one I tried which was rare.
Chambers cellar door is an experience you shouldn't miss out on
They had probably 30/40 wines to taste
Bill Chambers 84yo there pretending he wouldn't know much and at the back empty bottles of La Tache, Yquem, Latour and Maurice O'Shea.
Amazing weekend in Rutherglen ✌️ — 8 years ago
What a ride! Make sure to give this 2-hours and let the magic begin. Muscular cherry + brown spice garden + mouth feel let you know how important this site is... tasted blind next to DRC La Tache 93 - at gwen restaurant during the "best bottle" dinner hosted by wineLA - The only problem is everyone thought this might be the La Tache - unbelievable power and concentration — 9 years ago
Rather masculine with herbal quality that reminded me of old chartreuse, while being perfectly balanced and very long. Amazing wine. Layers of complexity. Tasted next to 1990 La Tache which was the feminine counterpart - and better QPR, which is a silly concept at this level.... — 9 years ago
1985 DRC Grands Echezeaux. Drank at J&D B’s as part of a comparison against the 1985 DRC La Tache. Great wine. Such a treat. — 10 years ago
1990 Clos de la Roche Bergundy. Drank w Iana and K at Melisse. Super funky. Vegetal, mineraly, gamey, but not in an odd-putting way. Just very interesting. Was fun to drink and compare w the 1996 La Tache. — 11 years ago
Old la tache — 12 years ago
Still young but showing its pedigree. Strong and spicy red fruit. 1 row away from La Tache. — 8 years ago
This 1957 Richebourg has been in the cold and damp cellars of Maison Remoissonet, deep under the strets of Beaune, since the days it was first bottled. During its many years of cellaring, it was never subjected to movement or noticeable temperature fluctuations and is, therefore, a pristine example of the wine that was bottle decades ago. It was pulled from their underground cellars and released in March, 2010.
The wine was uncorked among several other beasts, including La Tache, aged grand crus and 04's from Leroy, outstanding efforts from Jean-Yves Bizot, etc. And it was beautiful. Sublime, in fact. A wine that deeply impresses both mind and sense. Full of elegance and outstanding pinot noir expression. — 9 years ago
1993 Domaine Dujac Les Gruenchers Chambolle Musigny burgundy. BBQ at the house while B&M Sh were visiting. Drank this first, before the '99 La Tache and the '86 Margaux. Served out of decanter, but did not decant for a long time. Super smooth and light. Hard to choose a fave bw this and the La Tache. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Un des meilleurs vin que j'ai eu la chance de gouter. Note négative : très foncé, il tache beaucoup les dents — 10 years ago
A wow wine...who put La Tache in my bottle of Malconsorts?! — 11 years ago
Balanced acid and tannin composure. Short finish. High cherry with relation to dark fruits. Excellent everyday Malbec and great price for real Cahors. — 11 years ago
We had a 2007 grand cru ventricle. This is one of my favorite. Next is la tache 2007. Then mugnier. — 12 years ago

Strawberry and red berry. Very burgundian like with mineral and chalk. Light and silky but still have a little core of bitterness. Violet and sweatness and little spicy tone. They said it is design to be like la tache but havent try la tache so dunno. Talcum powder — 8 years ago
