The label says “hops, hops and more hops” I say yes to the hops but with a smooth blending of malts. Crisp, clean, intense aroma with a well balanced long satisfying taste this award winning IPA is the brewmaster’s choice. I say it’s just damn good. I believe that it is available on the USA Pacific coast. 6.5 % alc./vol. 80 IBU Cheers 🍻🇨🇦 — 7 years ago

Toffee, rich bitter notes of dark roasted coffee....high acid malty. 6oz is enough — 10 years ago
Reddish purple in the glass with aromas of cinnamon, cola nut and strawberries. Fresh and juicy with great acidity; the front palate hits with black cherry, tart cranberry and more baking spices. The mid palate carries some woody, earthy notes that finish with black tea, porcini mushrooms and fine grained, silky tannins. — 11 years ago

I’ve been following this wine since I first tasted it from barrel in the summer of 1990, and it has always been an amazing wine and one of the best examples of this remarkable vintage. This particular bottle, which I helped to drink alongside a superb, dry-aged prime porterhouse at one of the New York City area’s best steakhouses, Rothmann’s on Long Island, might have been the best I’ve ever had. The textbook iron, tobacco and cigar box Haut-Brion character was there in abundance, but this time there was also an almost Burgundian laciness and buoyancy to the wine that I’ve not experienced before. Even at almost 30 years old, it still has a long life ahead of it, but based on this bottle I wouldn’t begrudge anyone opting to drink it right now. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, January 219) — 7 years ago

Excellent brown ale, not as big and bold as a porter or stout, but not supposed to be. — 10 years ago

Need a Leo at your party? Looking for that gal who can charm the pants off a discerning group of hopeless wanderers? This is your gal. She's a people pleaser with a penchant for citrus and lemongrass. This is the city gal of summer wines. Crisp, refreshing and a pallet pleaser. Allegedly loves seafood (this according to match.com). — 11 years ago

A near perfect rosé at a great price. I prefer this soft fruit tempered by a light floral note all properly and proportionately positioned against a mineral intensive rocky bottom as swift waters twist and turn their way downstream leaving one's palate clean and refreshed but laced with the memory of the moment😎🌀 - buy the magnum at my favorite local Morehead City, NC hang - Promise Land Market (thx sweet Janeen and Daniel for spinning some crazy sweet tunage!)! Find this place in all its realness, and drink this wine! — 10 years ago

Reminds me of a Mountain Bike ride during the fall in Park City. Decaying Forrest floor, dried leaves, lavender, violets. Red and blue fruits, allspice, beautiful (yet) heavy integration of oak, persistent finish. Best wine I've tasted this year (Feb 21, '14) — 11 years ago
Delicious Pino; one of the best wines I've tasted in a while. Purchased at City Winery New York. Drank it while watching the movie "Sideways", which was a great pairing. — 13 years ago

Man this is just so good. Forest floor, mushroom, a lot of deliciousness. An unmistakable Bordeaux. Had a rough day so thought would pop this open. This is one of these hidden little gems you discover. Like stumbling across the lost city of Atlantis. Too good to be true. — 6 years ago
