Vinsanto Santorini Assyrtiko Blend 2005

Partnered this Greek vin santo with a home made chocolate cake and that gave pleasure. The taste is fruity with a clear impression of peaches. Good effort, this wine. — 7 years ago

Fattoria di Lucignano

Vin Santo del Chianti White Blend 2005

Browned butter, caramel, toasted pecans. Evaporates on the palette leaving diaphanous notes of caramelized buttery joy. A Chianti masquerading as a sherry. One of the most delicious wines, or liquids for that matter, I've ever tasted. First had from the winery in Tuscany. Will always be a favorite. 2005 vintage — 8 years ago
