Only reason I didn't give it a '10' was because of how long it took for Todd and Sarah to actually get it to me!!! Me and the wife both loved it! — 9 years ago
Yummy. Thank you Sarah! — 9 years ago
My first encounter with a Bulgarian wine thanks to my dear friend @Yigit Tuncel and I guess I've started from the very top. Very balanced, more fruity on the tongue compared to a cab blend in general and that should be due to the indigenous grape domination. Acceptable hints of oak and short finish. Other than taht this is a very pleasant wine which should develop into purity over 4-5 years of cellaring. — 10 years ago

One of my favourite Bulgarian wines, this is quite a good year. But his older brother, from 2007 is incomparable. It's the best. — 8 years ago
Blueberry, raspberry, tar, oak, brick. Smooth finish with oily, smoky notes like olives, sea salt, Gruyere. Have another bottle of this vintage we will open in 3-4 years to see differences. Sarah had a more fruit forward, tart experience with black cherry coming forward. — 9 years ago
6 years in the cellar has done wonders for for this Syrah - so vibrant and fresh with layered flavors and smooth tannins. Would pair well with anything... or better yet, a second bottle of '09 Kunin Sarah. — 10 years ago
