Dear Uruguayan sommelier in the random restaurant on Avenida Santa Fe, thank you for introducing us to this dark, voluptuous fruit of the Patagonian desert (see photo of the earth of the vineyard on the label). Self judgment aside, it can only be described as tantamount to drinking velvet. Lush, liquid, aniseedy velvet. Muchisimas gracias, Leah — 11 years ago

This is the standard on which all other barrel aged gins should be judged. By far the best I've ever had. — 9 years ago
Christmas martini. Santa Cruz gin was a gift from @Amy Monroe — 9 years ago
Tasted in a flight at La Boca in Santa Fe. Cedar plank very dark. Very classic might need more time. Cherry and boysenberry. Better than many Bordeaux's in this price range. If you want so save money buy Rioja. This one for less than 25$ is a really good deal. — 9 years ago

If you like Scotch you will love this single malt from New Mexico of all places. Absolutely delicious. — 10 years ago
I have minimal experience with sherry, but this was better 1-2 days later. It had more air and was also colder from sitting in the fridge than from the cellar. It was fantastic and better with chorizo charcuterie, cheese and cornichon. Salty, saline, almond, olive and and spirits flavors and aromas. #frasiercrane — 10 years ago
I really liked this white wine, which I don't in general. In fact, it got me to pick up a few other whites last summer. This one was rather sweet and floral, not at all dry. Quite refreshing, actually. Way to go, New Mexico. — 11 years ago
Wow! A friend purchased this bottle at the recent Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta auction. What a gift! — 11 years ago

Round, full, well integrated fruit flavored, good mouthfeel, and long lingering finish. Enjoyed at the winery in Velarde, New Mexico and later in Santa Fe. — 9 years ago
