Soft tannins, floral nose, pretty wine. This would be a daily drinker for me. — 7 years ago
This is our favorite wine, light and crisp. It's the wine by which we judge all others. — 9 years ago
Served it with parmesan, kale, and black pepper pasta. Lovely! — 10 years ago
Very nice and smooth start to finish. Dark fruits mainly and fully integrated. Last bottle of 2017 — 5 months ago
Visited this winery and found this nice value 5 grape blend. Mostly grenache, syrah, mourvedre, and tad of cinsault and counoise. The wine offers a slight acidity with ample red berry and moderate tannins. After a much needed 30 min decant the wine will open up and expose the finish. Very drinkable. Makes for a great food pairing wine. — 7 months ago
Hailing from one of the premier sites in the Santa Lucia Highlands, planted in 1996, the 2022 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard is flat-out gorgeous. Beautifully rendered, it boasts generous fruit density, crystal-clear delineation of flavors and bracing structure. Fully destemmed, the 2022 finishes with a ton of persistence in its dark berry flavors, even darker cherry, black licorice and black sage. The 2022 leaves behind a fine web of powdery tannins, neatly wrapped up with a little bow on top, concentrated, effusive, and ready to rock. What a complete package. This may be the red wine of the vintage in the SLH. (Billy Norris, Vinous, August 2024)

Not sophisticated wine drinker, but prefer Pinot noir's, and really like the Lyric over much more expensive wines I have in wine locker at club, but will add this for me! — 8 years ago
