Loved this Pinot. Not as dry as usual. Easy to drink with or without food. — 8 years ago
Another serious Sam Kaplan concoction (Sam is in the photo...not the one with the snake). A Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the famous Dr. Crane, as Piedras and the Weitz Vineyards. Deep color, staining the glass (and anaconda decanter...that will never be the same) and layering the sides of the glass with beautiful, plush opaque runs. Full-bodied to almost dense, but still trademark Kaplan lushness, balance and great finish. Dark cherry fruits and more chocolate than cocoa on the tastebuds with a touch of spice on the nose. Already a stunning wine at 2014, with proper decanting. I am sure it only gets better!! — 8 years ago
Bold fruity flavor, but the aftertaste is a touch too acrid — 8 years ago

Very sweet yummy wine...sometimes I mix with a less sweet red to calm the sweet if I'm not in the mood for so much sweet. — 12 years ago

Nice blend. Don't usually reach for Merlots, but the Cabernet Sauvignon balances it nicely. — 10 years ago

Off the chain Cabernet. Thanks V Wine Cellar. — 12 years ago
Truly a beautiful Cabernet, Rich Salvestrin is an artist of the 1st degree. Sourced from fruit from the historic Dr. Crane vineyard near Saint Helena, this one will easily lay down for decades, though it is drinking well now. Space bold, full-bodied, rich, supple, and well structured, it lacks for nothing. Beautiful wine! — 8 years ago

You would never know how inexpensive this Petite Syrah is. Woodie, fruity deliciousness. — 10 years ago
It was paired with a chicken caeser pizza. Sweet but not overly so. — 12 years ago
The most obvious trait of this 2009 Knights Bridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is its booming power and complexity. Aromas of black cherry, ripe macerated black raspberry, espresso, spice, and dried lavender bound from the glass and continue to reward through a dense, weighty palate. Plush layers of dusty mocha, dark sweet fruit, and cedar surge through a rich mid-palate and unfurl to an expansive finish. Well-integrated oak, fine-grained tannins and lifting acidity lend excellent structure and balance. Our biggest Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to date, this wine will continue to evolve for a decade or more. — 12 years ago
