Incredibly mineral. The nose is all flint and wet stone. Seriously, this is smelling the sidewalk after a summer rain. On the palate you definitely get that minerality in the sense of an almost metallic twang, along with some lemon peel. Just a mouth watering, perfect food wine. — 3 years ago
Earthy, a bit of tannic finish but full bodied and smooth. Dried fruit peel, cigar — 4 years ago
Futili wine that is smooth, kind of creamy (not in a California Chardonnay kind of way though), that tastes a little like white flowers and linen. Just delicious. — 3 months ago
With fruits from the San Pietro cru in Monforte d'Alba and aging in stainless steel and amphora for 10 month only, this is a simplistic yet beautiful interpretation of Nebbiolo.
Ripe cherry, strawberry, plum, rose petals with just hint of forest floor. Medium elegant body. Vibrant yet composed. Soft dusty tannins. Just lovely. — a year ago
Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 4 years ago
Very good. I'm not any expert, but I think this wine has a future - at Tre Galline, Torino. — 5 months ago
Very nice wine. A lot of brick and some wood, but also some cherry and savory herbs. Not a ton of fruit. Pretty good. — a year ago
Nose is intense cherry with some spice. Almost sing the lines of an elegant brunello. As this opens you get those deep fresh hand crushed rose petals that come to the fore.
Palate is intense fresh fruit. Just a super intense blast. Wow. Major acidity held in check by the fruit. As this opens this is borderline elite deliciousness.
Has this thing on the finish that implies it will explode in 3 years.

Opens with a smoky, complex layering of cherries with dark chocolate, figs, and carob. Tannins are smooth and carried by a moderate acidity to finish. — 11 days ago
