Very surprising for only $35. Took about 30 min to open up and another 30 let out the flavors. Ruby red, sweet oak, bing cherry, cassis, vanilla, light body with similarities to Rutherford style. I could see this showing well for another 5 years and hello to the high alcohol %!
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley, one of the world’s foremost winemaking regions. The estate’s more than 300 acres of gently rolling hills and terraced vineyards benefit from the cooling fog and breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay, climatic conditions that favor the production of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The unique architecture of Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is reminiscent of a majestic western mountain lodge, replete with soaring ceilings, seating around a cozy fireplace, an observation gallery overlooking the barrel room and production area, and a spectacular wraparound veranda that affords sweeping views of the Napa Valley and San Pablo Bay. — 8 years ago

[SAN PABLO-Single Vineyard] Blind tasted futures, still in barrel but got a sneak peak. Spicy aromas, like dipping your nose in a pepper grinder. Tannins firm and chalky, a touch on the green side. Finish is lingering. As it warms, spice shows through. Can't wait to see how it turns out in bottle. — 10 years ago
From San Pablo at 1412m elevation in the auto Valley. Floral nose concentred with violets, raspberry, strawberry, plum, cranberry. Very bright and lean with nice acidity. No signs of oak, maybe fermented in cement eggs? *This bottle had Initial musty/moth ball smell that went away after being open for 15-20 min — 8 years ago
Established in 1969, in Carneros in Napa Valley, cooled by fog from the San Pablo Bay. Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral scents. On the palate raspberry and strawberry fruit with baking spice and woody notes. Savory tannins, smooth and refreshing on lingering ending. Very nice. — 9 years ago
Beautiful nearly opaque garnet color. Tannins with some black cherry and dried cranberries and some tartness that turns to mellow tannins on the back and sides of the tongue. light on the nose, — 9 years ago

A rare Napa Valley Albariño from the Stewart Ranch in Carneros, close to San Pablo Bay. Beautifully complex nose with ripe white peach, camomile, jasmine, lime and a distinctive oceanic minerality. On the palate it is bright and energetic with very pure juicy white stone fruit, crispy acidity, impeccable balance and a long mineral-driven finish to the point of feeling salty. A terrific wine! Well worth the price at 27 euro. 200 cases produced. Abv. 14,1%. — 8 years ago
Think it's a new release, Incredible texture, teeth staining, inky purple, planted in 2000 on a west facing hill over the San Pablo Bay, Southern Petaluma Gap, constant afternoon wind. Intense, amazing structure, violets, raspberries, pepper, meat, funk. 50% WC, Viognier co-fermented, Feels like it's going to age for a long time, has everything, alcohol, acid and tannin, probably coming back to the next bottle in 2024. Ridiculous wine. — 9 years ago

At Mayacamas, looking out to the San Pablo Bay. Tasting the influence of the marine breeze and spirited land. If the pinnacle of a wine is doing the land justice, not screwing up its potential and maybe, just maybe, capturing even a faction of its magic - well that is what this does. It's hella meta. And I will never drink this wine with out thinking of and feeling this site again. And hopefully I will drink this wine often because my god is it delicious. A draw you in sweetness on the nose and wake you up energy in the mouth. — 11 years ago
