Nice, round and a bit developed wine. It has fine viscosity which adds to the mouthfeel. Lots of ripe fruit but there's enough acidity there to keep things civilised. — 9 years ago

For entry German Spätburgunder at under $20, I highly recommend. Cherry, baking spice, medium+ acidity, mineral in the soil profile and mouthfeel is making me think of effervescence (fitting, Gerolstein is not too far, and Kaiserstuhl is a volcano). Drink now. — 8 years ago
