Probably the best Blanc de Blancs I’ve tasted. A clean and regal nose of peach, ripe apple, white flower, lemon tart, and banana. The palate, though fresh and crisp, feels expansive and soft, and laces with brioche and hint of sea breeze. Long and polished finish. — 4 years ago
@ £50 - one of my fav pink NV with LP Rose, Bolly Pink NV & Billecart Salmon pink but this NV is a little lighter than normal

🍷Pale peachy salmon copper pink
👃 Creamy citrus, red currant, apple & cherry, light smoked peachy oak, minerals & red flower
👄 Smooth & refreshing med body of red fruits with tart strawberry, apple, grapefruit & some cherry coming through in a lively bubbled mousse with low+ acidity & big minerality

Nice for a $6 bottle of wine — 8 years ago
Beautiful rosé - light salmon color that starts with fresh acidity but finishes with a sight sweetness. Strawberry and watermelon throughout — 8 years ago
My favorite ever — 8 years ago
Terrifically complex rose. Beautiful salmon color, on the palate it was a white wine in the front of the mouth but finished like a red with high acid and some significant tannin. Thanks to @Jason Alaniz for bringing it by! — 9 years ago
PN/CH- all grand cru. Only best vintages: 1982-1996. Grand Cuvée! — 10 years ago
Very yummy but only good with something like salmon. Very acidic. Smelled like pine nuts. — 10 years ago
This champagne was really great. Very smooth and elegant bubbles without too much fizz. — 3 years ago
Light to medium salmon coloration. On the nose, pear, apple, biscuit. On the palate, bright acidity, strawberry, apple, and a long rich almost creamy finish. Never disappoints. — 4 years ago
Very nice delicate champagne. Paired with lobster on John’s birthday 2019 — 4 years ago
Floral, slightly green color, aromatic, balanced acidity, green apple, citrus, nice finish... just beautiful. It reminds me of a New Zealand Sav Blanc. — 7 years ago
Lovely wine. Dry, very pale salmon color. Refreshing acidity with subtle notes of red berries. Rich texture without overt yeastiness. Would recommend and will definitely enjoy again. — 8 years ago
I found this rosé to be very enjoyable and smooth. Beautiful light, salmon color, medium viscosity. Strawberries, white flowers, citrus on the nose. Very light in the mouth, dry, medium+ acid, medium+ finish with notes of sharp minerality, lemon. Wished there was more red fruits on palette but this was perfect for the sunny Seattle day! — 8 years ago
A rare treat. Another case of a brilliant wine that just needs to breathe a bit too open up, but alas is gone too soon. — 9 years ago
1985 rose vintage Dom Ruinart. Deep salmon, orange hue. Ripe apricot and butterscotch. 10g dosage. On palate, rich and porcini and truffle. Meaty and leather. Acidity is integrated. Soy sauce and apricot. Good length. Prefer the '88. But great wine. — 9 years ago
This incredible sparkling wine is unbelievable! I visited this wonderful vineyard in 2013. The hue of rose’ is almost pale salmon. It’s medium to full body flavor is off the charts delicious. A touch of mineral and fabulous fruit. At the mid palate there is a heartiness I can’t quite figure out. This can rival any and every pink and brut champagne in the world. It’s that great!!! — 4 years ago
There is just no holiday weekend or weekend that the Rosé Champagne is not coming out at the D&S lounge.
Really love the deeper, richer, riper fruits of the Ruinart & gentler chalkiness as a nice switch up from my addiction to Billecart-Salmon Rosé.

Pink Pinot Porn 💗
The steamy finessed intricate pink bubbles tease you as they dance around the glass hypnotising you to take a sip of the deep clear amber, shining copper & salmon love juice. The nose seduces with a powerful floral cherry red berry smokey soil leafy peachy brioche mist. Helplessly your palette succumbs to a smooth rich strawberry peach & red berry biscuity mousse caress that teases you to take another as the kiss lingers on and on. I thought the 96 pink DP was hot but this is X-rated! Drank in a Zalto Burgundy glass & decanted.

Tart in a good way, it's fun to froth it in your mouth. — 8 years ago
Bubbles are so fine while a bit dry. Love it — 9 years ago
Surprisingly light. It starts with a floral overlay - it's there then dissipates into a light finish and then gone. Any easy drink — 10 years ago

Popped and poured and consumed over two days; best on Day 2. 100% Pinot Meunier from Chaumuzy, the wine actually appears almost brassy in color. On Day 1, the wine was tightly wound; a ball of energy with mostly green apple notes, savory minerals and ripping acid. On Day 2 however, the wine had kept its bubbles well and evolved rather dramatically, rounding out a bit to reveal spiced apples, more red than green, with raspberries and minerals that danced across the palate. A massively crushable Champagne with a long finish. An outstanding NV and paired perfectly with the New Year and Mille Bournes. No disgorgement data that I can find on the label. — 2 years ago
