Definitely reduced. Some roundness (oak) too? Under the sulfury nose there's a bit of green apple. — 9 years ago

At Henri. Barnyard and smoke at first. Opened up nicely. — 11 years ago
Very fine value from Montille’s “Maison” negociant label that reflects the Domaine’s elegant style. A richer profile for Saint Romain that shows a certain vintage character. Great freshness, fine-tuned texture and bright acidity. Rounded mid palate that is well-framed by salinity. White flowers provide a measure of lift and nuance. Very fine and versatile young Burgundy at this price point. — 7 years ago

Amazing QPR on this one. — 9 years ago
Soild unsulfered burgundy. Bright, with sour cherry and pomegranate. Surprisingly not funky. Goes down easy! — 9 years ago
Dinner at Christophe Coperet's house. He opened some delicious bottles:
Champagne Tarlant - la matinale - 2003
Sauternes - Château Yquem - 1981 (this was ridiculously good)
St Julien - Château Branaire Ducru - 2008
St Julien - Château Talbot - 1998
St Julien - Château Beychevelle - 1988
Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "La Combe d'Orveau" - Domaine Henri Perrot Minot - 1998 (my favorite of the list)
Pouilly Fuisse - Domaine Corsin - 1998. — 9 years ago

Great name and lovely, long finish. Made by a lady, too... — 11 years ago
Vintage 2003 - 15 y old #pinotnoir that is very alive and kicking, with a smell of red fruit and stable. #sancerre from a rich year! Refined. Partnered with braised calf cheek. -At Meesters in wijn Maastricht — 7 years ago

Kiwi fruit and flint. Really pretty wine. Thanks Paul! — 8 years ago
This mutant Pinot noir from CLOS Jacquinot, finally just enough to fill one barrel and qualify for Nuits Saint George's appellation . Noble mineral broad and creamy , so much structure and finesse, still young . Glorious finesse and intensity , yum! — 9 years ago
Food for thought. — 10 years ago
