Burgundy Sauvignon Blanc. Great tension in the wine with some beautiful acid and minerality. — 9 years ago
This was easily one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've had in a while. Darker color than most, a bit more body. Softer citrus, mellow grassy notes and minerals but without that zingy bone dry finish of limestone. Finishes with some weight and length. Delicious! — 9 years ago
Interesting burgundy. 100% Sauv blanc from Saint-Bris aoc. Citrus and lemongrass, but much softer and more round than most US or S. Equat. examples. — 9 years ago
a truly smooth and elegant Sauvignon blanc with a soft minerality in the finish. great buy for the price — 10 years ago
So appropriate for Passover. #bris — 10 years ago
A rarity, white Sauve Bland from Burgundy. Crisp, clean and subtle. — 10 years ago
#2002 extra-terrestre, mielé mais encore frais, manquant juste un peu de gaz. Cépage introuvable. — 11 years ago
Rose petals on the nose. Light and easy to drink. Nice acidity. — 7 years ago
This is how a Sauvignon Blanc tastes in my mind and dreams. — 7 years ago

This wine tastes like the ending of Cast Away after Tom Hanks delivers the package and doesn't know which road to take. Tears and gravel. — 9 years ago
Все замечательно, но только это скорее шабли, чем Совиньон. Зачем это? — 9 years ago
Great white with steak — 9 years ago
Needed some time to open up. Started off as too acidic and mineral, but ended up with fruit coming forward. A style of Sauvignon Blanc I am not really used to. I liked this, in the end! The fruit caught up with the acidity, making for a pleasant experience. — 10 years ago
Crispy, almond, tangerine and white flowers. Soft and round. — 10 years ago
White flower の中でも蓮華をそうきさせる花香り。春にぴったり。花見しながら、仲間と春野菜沢山なお弁当とともに食べたいかも。 — 10 years ago
Crisp, sharp but well balanced. A slight mineralality, very pleasant. — 7 years ago
Perfectly off dry. — 7 years ago
Light and crisp, easy drinking wine. Described to me as dry, but to me not at all. — 9 years ago

Awesome sauv blanc from a producer in Burgundy close to the Chablis border. This vineyard site has limestone soils that you can taste in this dry mineral driven wine. Bright acidity and lean body make it a great food wine and something that will be easy to enjoy all summer long. — 9 years ago
Yes, Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy! In fact, the St Bris appellation was previously called 'Sauvignon de Saint-Bris' (before 2003). And you can ONLY use SB or Sauv Gris fruit, + max 12.8% ABV. Love the terroir and plan to show it blind just to mess with my Sancerre obsessed friends. — 10 years ago
2010 vintage - still whistle clean but not at all confected — 10 years ago
Yum. Saint Bris at age 5 (2009 vintage) and it's superb. Long, elegant, lemons, piercing. Their wines never disappoint. — 10 years ago
I think ken would like it. :) — 12 years ago

Irancy Palotte - abbaye saint Antoine - 2014 WoW what a cherry nose ! Intense ripe fruit. The palate is very powerful which is weird considering the appelation. Lots of fruits, a very wide expression, round tannins, a long expending finish with red fruits. Somewhat a blood orange thing in the end too. Very nice — 7 years ago
