Unexpectedly good. I'm not a Sainsbury's regular and only got this because I read somewhere that priorat was interesting. Now I will look for others from the area. — 8 years ago

Lovely, very fruity wine — 8 years ago
Translucent ruby colour with enticing warm cassis bouquet with hints of dark cherry and tobacco. Very smooth (silky in fact) and balanced - very quaffable with or without food. The taste is of cherries with a few chocolate notes. From sainsbury's fine wine range and at this price point it is a triumph. — 9 years ago
Amazingly good value. This is smooth and ripe and tastes of black cherry, sweet clove and cinnamon. Medium-bodied and mellow. Match with homemade burgers. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/wine/10268208/Wine-Review-Discovering-good-value-pinot-noir.html — 9 years ago

Bought in Sainsbury's- lovely tasting wine. 2014
2016 international bronze wine winner. Not as dry as most SB, rated 3. — 8 years ago
Currently my all-time favourite wine. Fruity but not like port and lovely textured finish. Normally £10 at Sainsbury's but occasionally £8. Even £10 is a bargain for this one 😛 — 8 years ago
Light, lingering from citrus to melon taste. An all occasion wine. — 8 years ago
Rich heady caramel and toffee notes, molasses, walnuts, maple syrup, dried apricot, coconut. Light sugar initially but very kernel and dry on the finish. Raisins, figs, woody. Good, quite overt but great for £8 — 9 years ago
