On the first day open, it was kinda disjointed and woody. Lots of bacon and smoke covering unmistakably concentrated fruit. On day 2 it got more savory and herbal. Now on day three the fruit is gorgeous -- ripe but not jammy. Minty-menthol herbal note with spice and great structure. A gorgeous reserved style of Zinfandel, this wine offers bright and concentrated blackberry and black cherry aromas, with smoky, spicy notes and a velvet smooth texture.
