Zippy alcohol and acidity with a light body. Smells like pure cherries but taste is all spice and tobacco. Took awhile to open up but very much enjoyed. — 11 years ago
On the first day open, it was kinda disjointed and woody. Lots of bacon and smoke covering unmistakably concentrated fruit. On day 2 it got more savory and herbal. Now on day three the fruit is gorgeous -- ripe but not jammy. Minty-menthol herbal note with spice and great structure. This is why reviewers who base scores on one 90-second encounter can't be trusted. #lodiwine #snoothvt — 11 years ago
A perfect PG with the requisite bright apple and nectarine flavors a a smooth honeyed finish. Exquisite when paired with Chinese food. — 12 years ago
Great, fruit-forward Zin
From Fields: A classic example of what Lodi does best! A gorgeous reserved style of Zinfandel, this wine offers bright and concentrated blackberry and black cherry aromas, with smoky, spicy notes and a velvet smooth texture. There is a bit of Carignane and Petite Sirah for added color, spice and finesse. — 12 years ago
