Great white wine. Enjoyed this wine immensely. Went well with the rotisserie chicken — 7 years ago
Inaugural vintage/bottling of Sauvignon Blanc from Balletto Vineyards. Tasted this along side the Saddleback Cellars Pinot Blanc. Bright pale yellow. Fresh nose with some white floral notes, lots of peaches, lychees, and literally dances across. Some slightly sweet undertones. Moderate acidity (7/10) and light bodied. Lots of wet grass and tropical notes. Crisp and refreshing. The bright acidity making this perfect for a hot summer day. Long and lingering finish. Great value and excellent QPR! Chardonnay is reborn thanks to the winemaking duo of Molly Hill (Sequoia Row) and Lars Bjorkman (Saddleback). Mt. Veeder grown. 3 exposures (east, south, level). Thankful I had chance to taste as it is sold out. — 10 years ago

Definitely would recommend this one! Bought it last year when I was on my honeymoon in Napa Valley. Saddleback cellars was our ( my husband and I) first winery we visited and it was fun and had a real rustic feel to Northern California wine country. — 8 years ago

Nils Venge continues to impress me. I'm surprised to see this is the first note on DL!
In the glass, it's a medium cherry red. The nose has plenty of red currant and sweet oak. On the palate, there are definite notes of cranberry and cassis with a hint of wild strawberry. The oak rounds things out in a classic Nils Venge way that I find hard to describe. Soft tannins. Good finish. — 8 years ago
