Suave e sedoso com aromas de cerejas negras, leve e "refrescante". Bem equilibrado, ligeiramente frutado com um final de boca longo e instigante.

THE WINNER...
Occhio del Pernice... :)

Want to have one on my table! 軽めだけど、少し渋み。よい香り。肉料理に合わせたい。 — 10 years ago
The 2007 Russo Toscano will always claim the throne, but the 2012 is not far behind. The taste clings to the glass giving a patron anticipation for the first sip. Luxurious velvety feel as this wine touches the tongue that gives off a clarity to the evening. Seamless blend of tastes and aromas complete the picture of delectable wine. This will top my list. — 10 years ago
Rubi intenso. Aroma de frutas negras, chocolate e tostado. Na boca é muito frutado com toques de madeira, pouco de baunilha e chocolate. Vinho equilibrado com taninos macios e final longo. — 10 years ago

My favorite wine during the wine tour near Mt. Vesuvius. — 8 years ago
Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 8 years ago

Love Us some all natural, family owned Sicilian red wine! Come to Boston soon! — 9 years ago
2009. A blend of Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo, Brancellao, and Ferrol according to my friend Chris. Lean, dark fruit with firm tannins and refreshing minerality. We had it with beef-stuffed bell peppers, but this vintage would've paired better with steak frites in retrospect. — 10 years ago
Na taça rubi intenso. Aroma de frutas negras maduras, madeira tostada e pimenta. Gosto de frutas, baunilha e chocolate. Taninos intensos e final longo. Ótimo vinho. — 10 years ago

Authentic, lush & stupendous red by Russo-Swiss winery of Marina & Renaud Burnier - indigenous Krasnostop, aged 18 months in oak barrels.
Deep inky purple, dark carmine rim. Refined legs.
Constantly evolving nose: mulberry, saskatoon, sweet spices, black pepper, licorice, blueberry, black currant leaf, raspberry, flowers... chocolate.
Medium-plus body, well-structured and balanced. Mulberry, chokeberry, thorns, huckleberry, cocoa, raspberry, black cherry.
Lingering finish.
Paired lovely to Russian Black Angus rib eye steak with wild berry sauce. — 9 years ago
Really underrated Etna Rosso - 12 months in steel, 36 in oak, another 12 in steel - lends an awesome flavor profile. #qprsuperstar #etnaonfire — 9 years ago
