Delicious wine for a great price. Very good balance of fruity and dry. This is definitely a go-to favorite. — 11 years ago
Got lucky with this 1986 Margaux. Hennings in Chichester had a few bottles all of which had lost a good three quarter inch so it was hit and miss but hadn't lost any of the roundness and complexity. A "meat and potatoes" wine with full, full body and beautiful rich fruit finish. Buy it and take the punt. — 12 years ago
Massive butter bomb. Origionally served chilled and it showed very well. As it warmed up the malo took over the wine and it became very viscous and greasy on the finish. Serve and keep chilled. I am excited to see what Bob Cabral is going to bring to this project. A dash of structure could make these wines hedonistic as well as well structured. I will be keeping an eye on Three Sticks. — 11 years ago
@LangmeilWinery never seems to fail to deliver. We don't see a wide array of wines but they're definitely a fave. — 12 years ago

Smoky and leather on the nose, with a touch of dark plum. Taste is dry, grassy, young, powerful tannins, with a mix of sweetness and acidity. Aftertaste of refreshing grass, sweet currant, and tannins gives me the impression that it has the potential to age. — 11 years ago
