An almost perfect representation of Howell Mountain Cab. Props to the von Strasser clan for delivering this beauty in 2011. Tannic, berries, a bit of smoke and slight acidity. — 7 years ago
Beautiful aged zinfandel, forest floor and tar, dark fruit, beautiful age, a little pepper — 8 years ago
Pale yellow color. Strong nose of grapefruit & grass. Medium bodied on the palate, pleasantly acidic but well balanced, lots of citrus flavors. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Great fruit and tannins to match. — 7 years ago
Wonderful wine. Comparable to Von Strasser Cab. Give it time to open up and get rid of the sharp, peppery edges & it will be smooth & round, with a dry finish. — 8 years ago
Loved this! A Grüner from Napa Valley! Hints of green apples on the nose and tangerines & lemons on the palette. I also got a little pineapple. Semi dry finish. Need to find more!!!! — 9 years ago
Lush. Tasty on a spring evening. — 10 years ago
