A nice little surprise. A bit to oaky and buttery for me, but a great well made wine that I can appreciate. — 10 years ago

Oaky nose mellows to ripe red fruit - much better than the 2012. Needs time to open. — 9 years ago
Sweet and easy to drink, but not so sweet that you can't have more than one glass. Enjoyed during an afternoon of decorating gingerbread houses. Yummy! — 9 years ago

Smokey fennel and black tea aromas. Blackberry, blueberry and black pepper flavors with rounded tannins and plenty of structure to age for another 10 years with proper storage. — 10 years ago
Floral and light fruity scents greet you. A very nice, light flavor with very minimal tannins a great sipping wine. Food not necessar. :-) — 10 years ago
I brought two bottles up from the cellar since I was skeptical that the '97 Rosemount Red Rhone Blend 'GSM' would still be drinkable. Wow, it had more fruit aromas and flavors than most recent vintages. Vivid plummy cherry flavors and subtle spiciness with nice underlying acidity. Rich and round with beautifully integrated oak and a smooth persistent finish. — 10 years ago

In its prime, drinking very well. Still plenty of black currant fruit, a little spice, eucalyptus and sage. Tannins soft but good structure. — 9 years ago
