Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 pours a red-salmon color with a moderate mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of mostly ripe fruit, similar to confected strawberry and raspberry soda pop. On the palate, the wine is off-dry with medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and has some nice minerals too. This is a ridiculously easy quaffer. Drink now. — 6 days ago
Bit by bit, the case is dwindling. Every bottle has been really excellent. — 8 hours ago
Medium copper salmon colour , with wide slightly yellow tinged rim . Toasty notes , with some dried herbs , orange rind , candle wax , toasted almonds , sea breeze, in some ways quite similar to the white reserva. On the palate this is quite intense and grippy again , with a nutty , spiced orange rind , dried red fruit . Good balanced acidity , good volume and decent length . This is ready and drinking well now but will probably last well over the next 5 -8 years, though I don’t see it improving — 16 days ago
Very dry with a long and rich flavor profile. Taste of spiced plum, green apple and a hint of sour at the end. Very light on aroma. — 4 days ago

The reasonably-priced Right Bank is probably my favorite from the winery. For 2018, it’s a blend of 56% Cab Franc and 44% Merlot.
The perfumed nose offers lush dark cherry, plum, and violet aromas, layered with hints of tobacco, cocoa, and early autumn leaves. The palate is velvety yet structured, with bright acidity balancing ripe fruit and savory spice. Polished tannins lead to a lingering finish with notes of mocha and dried herbs. — 6 days ago
