Delicious. Low tannins, sweet, fruity, smooth. Blueberry, blackberry, plum jam. — 7 months ago
I really enjoyed this wine. It was the bottle that introduced me to wine drinking. A nice beginner one for me at least. — a month ago
Never disappoints! Wonderful alternative to champagne. — 2 months ago
Nose: that vegetal note. Cocoa
Palate: vegetal a bit. Fruit in background. Good acidity. Maybe some plum. Cocoa. Some sweet fruit. Some spice.

While their lower end wines, still quite good, are available in stores, the top-shelf TdO wines must be purchased directly from the winery, While a bit jammy for a cocktail wine, this is a great accompaniment for spicy foods. We enjoyed it with spicy Cajun chicken sausage dirty rice. The acidity cut the oils nicely, and the jammy residual sugars balanced out the spice quite well. This is your archetypal Amador Zin, with lots of blackberry and currant flavors. It’s usually better than the flagship Home Vineyard product! — 2 years ago

Cannot go wrong with 2018 vintage on most central Tuscan wines and this isn’t an exception. A nice, inexpensive, appealing and approachable Sangiovese driven with a gentle tannins, bright orange acidity, juicy cranberry, ripe red cherries and spice and subtle touch of oak. A perfect pizza companion wine for a casual drinking! — 5 months ago
