Revelatory Montepulciano with Italian essence but Bordeaux character. Medium bodied with earthy fruit and restrained tannins, combined with notes of leather and cedar box and a hint of soy sauce. Mouthwatering food wine; the 2013 vintage is definitely ready to enjoy now. First glass was at Mother Wolf in LA (date night with Dreama) and most recently a bottle at home with my own beef stroganoff on a Sunday night. What a way to top off the weekend! — 7 months ago
Superb nose of red berries, leather, quince and some herbal notes. The palate is very well made with a great acid drive, some red berries notes all along, some width but it's rather light and smooth on the mouthfeel. There are some tannins in the rear, a bit dusty and drying and a long fruity and fresh finish that lingers for quite some time. I had never heard about refrosco before and I read that it's pretty confidential. I will make sure to dig into it some more! — 2 years ago

Dark straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of red and green apples, pears, white flowers, raw nuts, lemon curd and wet slate. Long lasting, slightly salty, and mineral laden finish. Viscous/creamy texture and very fruit forward. Medium body and medium-plus fresh acidity. Just a bit flabby. — 8 months ago
