After the fab 2012 I had to try new 2015 @ £40 w/ 95 RP & it's just slightly more refined but will develop 👍

🍷 Rich golden yellow
👃 Squished peach, pear & fine tropical fruits w/ honey mist, citrus, white flower, minerals & banana tropics
👄 Med+ buttery silky waxy but not syrupy body of sweet melon, green apple, honey, young pear, peach & burnt apricot w/ low+ acidity all super balanced
🎯 Med+ dry & sweet pear skin, green apple, peach & honey — 7 years ago
My favourite NV 100% Pinot Noir champagne 😍 this £70 NV is a couple of years old now adding to its complexity 👍 it's superb
🍷 Golden yellow w/ orange hue

👄 Lively med+ bodied burnt caramelised & honeyed mousse of apple, pear & buttery sweet vanilla orange & peach
🎯 Long creamy burnt caramel honey apple, sweet pear & citrus — 7 years ago
First red from Black Ankle. Garnet red with a dark core. Slightly stinky attack on the nose followed by some dark cocoa and nutmeg. Undertones of dark fruits. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) with a medium body. Dark cocoa and cherries on the palate with some good acidity and backbone. Long slightly dry finish. Drink till 2019. Very interesting Label actually says 11/12/13. — 8 years ago
Cheap but so delicious. It is like drinking koolaid wine. Great for beginning wine drinkers — 8 years ago

A definite favorite with little alcohol content. Love this wine! — 10 years ago
Very balanced bold flavor makes it very drinkable with some spice. Only the best from Scott cellars. — 11 years ago
This may be the smoothest Hermitage I've had @ £83 it's like a pig rolling in velvet 🐷 so smooooth 😍 Great now but 97+ over next 5-20yrs 😎
🍷 Ruby w/ purple hue
👃 Cloves, Olives, thyme & piggy 💩 through blackberry w/ touch of liquorice & minerals
👄 Med+ body incredibly super smooth olive tapenade, blackberry & dark cherry - surprisingly well balanced @ this age 👍
🎯 Long dark fruit & olive pure silk finish — 7 years ago

Bargain quality Chablis @ £12 & it's hard to beat on price - 88-90 every vintage & my go to @ this price 👍 a true ☀️ glugger 😎
🍷 Light golden yellow w/ lime hue
👃 Fresh wet rock mineral mist, citrus, green tart & sweet apples, melon & white flowers with a touch of fuel, grapefruit & pear
👄 Crisp refreshing med bodied full fruit palate of slight creamy sour green apples, citrus & touch grapefruit w/ medium tart acidity
🎯 Long dry finish of citrus & sour green apples smashed over wet mineral rocks — 7 years ago
A transfiguring, shape-shifting demon of flavor and memory. A single sip is like the ending scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey but instead of weird space stuff, it's the rolling hills of Piedmont and 1000s of herbs and fruits morphing into one another. #magic @Raymond Domenico — 8 years ago
Great example of Niigata. Fresh super clean. Quite complex but does it very subtly — 8 years ago
Very fruity. — 9 years ago

Pink Pinot Porn 💗
The steamy finessed intricate pink bubbles tease you as they dance around the glass hypnotising you to take a sip of the deep clear amber, shining copper & salmon love juice. The nose seduces with a powerful floral cherry red berry smokey soil leafy peachy brioche mist. Helplessly your palette succumbs to a smooth rich strawberry peach & red berry biscuity mousse caress that teases you to take another as the kiss lingers on and on. I thought the 96 pink DP was hot but this is X-rated! Drank in a Zalto Burgundy glass & decanted.
Divine! 😍 — 6 years ago
One of my fav NZSBs @ £14 it soothes the sunny sizzles & cools the coconuts 😳 🌴 Oh & makes me wanna take a naked bath in the street just sayin' 🤡 its so hot ☀️

My go to William Fevre Premier Cru @ £20 in latest vintage that is fab QPR 👍

Few friends over last night and what was supposed to a relaxing evening became a drinking free for all and it was a blast but no way posting last night - had this wine previously for 2010 and 11 and first time with 12 - stunning wine and really got things rolling - we killed this bottle like was water after being in the desert for two days - in seconds and @Jody Scharf not a lot of breathing but a lot oh yeahs - a little sweeter than I remember but a great time which leads me to my final seasonal quote from Elf "I like to smile ... smiling is my favorite" and of course this wine is helping so much - PS not smiling as much this morning - belated Merry Christmas to all and to all get some rest — 7 years ago
Fruit forward and lovely. Paired with meatloaf and potatoes. Not a typical Syrah. Soft, not spicy. Big but not overpowering. — 8 years ago
If you're looking for a cheap but fruity wine, this is a pretty choice. There's still a light alcohol taste to it but overall it taste like juice. — 8 years ago
A light, dry wine with a light, dry finish. Awesome merlot. — 10 years ago
