Cola and dark fruit. Long finish. Awesome. — 9 years ago
80 year old vines. 31 months on the lees. Intense bouquet. Fruit loops. Rocky palate. Honeydew. Elegant mouthfeel. Very dry but not overly acidic. — 10 years ago
A near perfect rosé at a great price. I prefer this soft fruit tempered by a light floral note all properly and proportionately positioned against a mineral intensive rocky bottom as swift waters twist and turn their way downstream leaving one's palate clean and refreshed but laced with the memory of the moment😎🌀 - buy the magnum at my favorite local Morehead City, NC hang - Promise Land Market (thx sweet Janeen and Daniel for spinning some crazy sweet tunage!)! Find this place in all its realness, and drink this wine! — 10 years ago
Super acid, citrus, lime, rocky minerals. — 11 years ago
Awesome Carignan from Mendocino County. Great dark fruits and rocky minerality. — 11 years ago
Medium bodied, salty, pineapple, rocky. — 7 years ago
Lovely rich mouthfeel with minerality and acid. Lemon curd and rocky, salty mineral. Perfect with oysters! — 8 years ago
Nice color of shades of purple, a bit hazy, and a bit bloody red. Nose of nice leather, sweet oak, dried strawberry, sugar plum, and cherry. Taste is warm, leathery, cranberries, zesty, dried strawberries, and a tiny bit of hickory note. Aftertaste is smooth, basically no tannins, a bit zesty, a bit oaky, and medium long. She is lighter compared to usual Shiraz from Aussie. Overall, she is a tasty wine and enjoy her now. — 8 years ago
Overripe cherry and balsamic. — 10 years ago
This is a great cab. Grown on the slopes of Mt Veeder in the Napa Valley. My Feeder is known for it small flavorful grapes due to the rocky soil.. — 10 years ago
Digging deep tonight, still tons of rich baked fruit, stewed with leather and herbal tones. — 11 years ago
Rocky-minerality, lemons. Zippy and focused. — 12 years ago
More on the delicious end of the scale on open. Very fruity tangerine. Citrus. Awesomely mineral of course. Nice acidity. Lovely nose. As it opens becoming more serious. Rocky finish. ... fast forward 15 minutes. Ok ... now it’s liable. I’m chewing on rocks in a lemon vineyard. Best lemons ever. Sweet lemons with the acidity of regular lemons. Ok that makes no sense unless you are a lemon geek. Nose is insane. Gods lemon oil. Mad love. Bought from Fass Selections. — 7 years ago
Unbelievably underrated vino! — 8 years ago
White flowers, lemon (Meyer lemon?), and a whiff of pepper on the nose give way to more of the same, plus a rocky minerality, as you drink. Additional stone fruit aromas might lead you away from Grüner if you're tasting blind. — 9 years ago
Deep, deep purple / Inky in color with a dark purple rim. Still Shows a very young age.
The nose is very distinctive to an Israeli Cabernet.
Beautiful and soft nose of blueberries, blackberries, black currants, earth, leather, licorice, mocha, smoke, vanilla, oak, toast, spices and peppercorn.
Full-bodied, smooth and elegant, with an awesome mouthfeel, medium acidity and long running legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with ripe black berries, cherries, tobacco, blueberries, black currants, earth, chocolates, sweet raisins, spices and peppercorn.
Long fruity finish with round, soft tannins and spices.
What an amazing Cabernet Sauvignon from Israel. Elegant, smooth, refreshing and Well-balanced. Drinkable by itself or with a big piece of steak. Good now, and would be good in the next 8 years, depending on the level of tannins you prefer.
Very enjoyable and complex. What a treat. Needs 1 hour to properly open up.
High in alcohol, but not noticeable at all. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Grapes grown in the Golan Heights, on rocky, volcanic soils.
15% alcohol by volume. — 9 years ago
One of my all time favorite Chards period. Even as high alcohol but balanced by massive frame of acid backbone. It used to remind me of a Mersault but now more a Marcassin Chard with loads of lemon curd, peel, rocky slate envelope evident from the name 'Quarry' in French. High concentration and powerful wine! Not for those who dare Chardonnay made this way. — 9 years ago
The dimensions of this wine are huge, and I don't mean alcohol, acidity, or tannin, though it has fair bit of all three. There's a depth or a third dimension that only wines from special places have. The fruit is bright and the color pale, but the wine is dark in character. It's the character that Etna has - that rocky, ashy, old balsamic, dusky mountain herb, intense etnosity. — 10 years ago
Rocky, appley nose, lovely and crisp, light, zesty! — 10 years ago
WON for me. Currants, cracked pepper, rocky minerality, some wild flowers in the nose too. The palate is developed but definitely young, well structured but not too bony. Fantastic clean and precise finish. — 11 years ago
Rich, velvety, plush goodness washes over the tongue and lingers like high quality dark chocolate melting slowly. Plum, blackberry, currant, black pepper, leather and cedar all blend wonderfully. — 11 years ago

Strong taste of peach which makes me salivate for impeachment. Perfect topper to a great news day. I can’t rank anything less than a perfect ten at this moment. — 7 years ago
