Savory and smoky- sausage and herbs; bright red fruit; would buy for price $20 — 7 years ago
Perfect. This Chianti hits it out of the park. Perfect Sangiovese elegance followed by a nice bite from the Pugniatello. Perfectly balanced. — 8 years ago

A poor man's Bolgheri. A steal at $15. — 9 years ago
3 hours decanting made all the difference. Beautiful, full body Tuscan. — 9 years ago
Wonderful plums and dark fruits with a hint of leather on the palate and nose. Enjoyed it with an eggplant-sun dried tomato pasta and chicken sautéed in an Italian odori base. Fabuloso! — 10 years ago
Love that I have discovered this producer. Awesome wines of exceptional quality and value. Thanks @rvandermass — 11 years ago

17•+ remarkably young colour. Good nose, though not v complex. Same on palate - v good fruit, elegant but not as interesting as I’d expected. Maybe decant next bottle. — 6 years ago
A deep purplish red, opaque, slightly orange rim. Light cherry nose and palate, some waxiness, and a hint of mustiness. Quite balanced with low acidity, medium+ tannins. Approachable, ready, but not lengthy. Paired great with veal in red sauce. I would everyone within range to come to CuVino and checkout @Ralph DiBiasi stellar Italian wine list!

Love wines from Cuneo — 7 years ago
This wine was excellent. It was strong in smell but incredibly drinkable. It was very complex and different. It gave us a nice feel as well. Highly recommend. — 8 years ago
Super tannic and needs very heavy food to pair with. Classic style Barolo — 9 years ago
Floral and cherry. Delicious! — 9 years ago
Deeper in flavor with a complexity that hides just below the surface of this wine that needs another year or two or plenty of air now to start showing it's layers more noticeably. Dense, deeply flavored and completely graceful. Of you love white Burgundy this is in your wheelhouse! #pieropan #soave #garganega — 10 years ago
a lot of people don't seem to understand aged wine. no complaints there are more for me :) — 11 years ago
Medium bodied, well balanced, dry finish — 11 years ago

Tasting of a group of six Barolos and three Barbarescos from 1997 through 2001. Found it overly tannic, the group liked it better. — 5 years ago
