Bought a bottle of this for my mom. This winery is known for sweet wines. Not my favorite type of wines but they aren't bad. These guys had two wines I could drink though. Mora and Ordnung. The latter being my favorite. The others are a bit too sweet. The owner said the Mora is how he got started and is what put him on the map. Definitely worth a shot if you're into sweeter wines. — 9 years ago

If I'm dreaming don't wake me. Drinking wine in Sicily is pure enjoyment! Is it the star lit sky, the beautiful people, the quaint court yard, the rhythm of the evening or the wine? I'm held hostage, and I don't want to escape! The seamlessness in which the food interplays with the wine is beyond beautiful. Cherry, over ripe strawberry and mounds of good earth. But what gets me is the texture and acidity. Mount Etna has shown its uniqueness!As Burgundy prices skyrocket, I increasingly turn to Nerello Mascalase ! — 9 years ago
