Excellent Pinot, fruity with smooth bold finish. Very nice! — 8 years ago
Not like most Pinot Noir I've had in the past. This was richer and more full bodied. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Every kind of pepper imaginable on the nose: green, black, white, chili. Rich palate with fruit she an eye-opening herbal finish. Buy this now. — 10 years ago
Black cherry, raspberry notes. Fair amount of acidity. Paired well with baked salmon. — 10 years ago
First time trying an old Felton Road and a Block 5 courtesy of Can. Forest floor, some black fruits. Great concentration with depth and intensity of flavour. Good length but never felt over-blown or heavy. Shows why this wine is an icon. 94 points — 11 years ago
Best of both worlds. Violets, cherries, dust light leather. Boozy! 14% I believe. Lies off after about 30-40. Super delicious and different. — 11 years ago
This is Woodward canyon's second label great value!! — 12 years ago
An Xmas gift from a close friend @Bill Bender - thank you so much, Bill.
The nose is bright and boisterous, which oozes red currants and cinnamon. On the palate, this presents just like a contemporary burg. Light on its feet. Soft, round tannins with a lovely interplay of relaxed acid. Finishes with delicacy and elegance.
We are really looking forward to securing a 2019 allocation from the winery. — 7 years ago

A non vintage blend that drinks remarkably well with a marinated steak. Hints of cocoa. — 10 years ago
A very pleasant surprise! Pure, perfumed, sensual, fresh and balanced. Vibrant bright fruit, roses, and minerals, gaining in amplitude on day 2. Like if a Fleurie and a Chambolle had a baby in upstate NY slate. Born in slate, not conceived. Or I don't know, maybe both. Basically it's really good. I'll stop now. — 11 years ago
