Perfumed nose: dried flowers, chalk, plums, and milk chocolate shavings. Fruit is still bright on the nose and continues on the palate, primarily cherry notes. Hints of dried tobacco are there too. Medium weight. Slight heat on a lingering finish. Drink now, but can be held a couple more years. Paired well with grass fed ribeye, better with food. — 9 years ago
