Medium ruby, medium body, dried cherries and strawberries, liking the brambly vanilla leather going on, med + tannins that could integrate with age but at 7 years they are quite nice. Especially if I was eating lechal (lamb) or patatas a la riojana. Or simply manchego or montealva. Blend of red grapes Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano as well as white grapes Viura and Malvasía Riojana from a great vintage in Rioja fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak for 17 months. — 9 years ago
