Patatas a la Riojana & Rioja vintage.
#Outstanding — 10 years ago
Dark fruit, medium-to-high tannins, leather, touch of all-spice. Hint of vanilla. Perfect with patatas a la riojana and some manchego. — 10 years ago
Wonderful wine from WSM with blackberry in mouth , wonderful vintage , love it , had it with my mom when Martin was away — 9 years ago
Medium ruby, medium body, dried cherries and strawberries, liking the brambly vanilla leather going on, med + tannins that could integrate with age but at 7 years they are quite nice. Especially if I was eating lechal (lamb) or patatas a la riojana. Or simply manchego or montealva. Well balanced, ageworthy, lots of oak on the nose and palate and fun to drink now @cvnevino — 10 years ago

A la riojana , sublime — 9 years ago
Deep ruby color. Cherry, plum, cloves, and earth on the nose. Medium bodied dark fruit on the palate with good acidity and fine tannins. Blend of red grapes Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano as well as white grapes Viura and Malvasía Riojana from a great vintage in Rioja fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak for 17 months. — 9 years ago
Mary Ellen introduced. Very drinkable. Usually about $9.99, Walgreens had on sale 50% off. — 13 years ago

Affordable brand from a family co-operative in Argentina. Acidity turned into tropical fruitiness next to an Asian chicken dish. Would pair with Asian flavors again. — 9 years ago
