An uncharacteristically delicate riff on Retsina, this wine featured only a subtle nod to the resinated flavor that can dominate lesser examples. This dry, light-bodied wine featured subtle elements of elderberry, rose water, quince and Meyer lemon. Paired perfectly with dolmas. — 10 years ago

This has a very lovely riff of sweet monastic spice, delicate fruit, not show'y, nuanced red fruits and a ever so slight note of tomato vine note but then some sweetness comes back, sweet liquorice smoke, amazing complexity. In the mouth this has freshness and a deft touch on the mouth, even a freshness, a great wine. — 11 years ago
