Huge mistake on my part for not including a picture of the wine which was a dark orange. As expected big concentration and flavor intensity. The acid is bumping up on middle age and might be an achilles' heel. — 10 years ago

Apricots and cashews - the palate perfectly echoes the nose. Still has great acidity.

There are few late-harvest Rieslaners (cross between Riesling & Sylvaner) that will blow your socks off like this one but so be it--when it comes from a vineyard called "Eselshaut" (Donkey skin) you know it got to be special☺️
