2006 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne Romanee Burgundy. Drank w Rick and K at Providence. Beautiful wine that had nice strawberry and cherry notes with some earthier smoke- like noses. Interesting. Great to sip and drink with lighter dishes and before the 1999 Soldera. Really enjoyed this wine all around! — 10 years ago

1999 Case Bassi Di Gianfranco Soldera Riserva Brunello Nebbiolo. Drank w Rick and K on double date at Prov.Wine was great. Very rich and acidic- so different from the 2006 Vosne Romanee. We saved this one for the meat course and it was perfect. Thumbs up all around. — 10 years ago
