Surprisingly sweet. Almost Ribena like. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Semi dried black fruit core and cassis (Ribena?) well integrated and subtle sweet oak spice, slight green herbaceous hint, good acid, soft supple tannins and a super persistent finish — 10 years ago
Drinking the 2012 in magnum format in 2016. Decanted for 2-3 hours. Maroon colour and nice gentle Ribena nose. A very pleasant and quaffable restrained cherry flavour - not tart, not bitter. A more delicate and soft but well balanced wine that we had expected it to be, this worked very well with our lovely homemade pizza dinner. — 10 years ago

Delicate floral nose. Raspberries and Cherries - sweet fruit not too similar to Ribena. Medium bodied - elegant and sophisticated with a serious face. Structured, Balanced. Very little oak influence. Silky, refreshing and for a 2013 so approachable. White pepper, touch of spice! Good quality fruit - purity/vibrant. Class act.. 94 points. — 11 years ago

Berry smells like ribena smooth and long finish — 9 years ago
Fair bit of R.S here but actually quite enioyable. I suppose that takes a point or two away but does bring some beautiful toffee and glazed cherry aroma to the wine. Palate is like fizzy ribena and chambord. — 9 years ago
Ribena - from Tuscany which Florence thinks is in France — 10 years ago
Absolutely wonderful wine recommended to me by the lovely nelleen at high timber. Lovely dark red colour and cassis nose. Very quaffable straight out of the bottle with the taste echoing the nose. Should improve further as the integration of the Ribena notes completes with the rest of the wine. — 10 years ago
Lovely deep purple colour with a blackcurrant nose with hints of chocolate and undergrowth. Very smooth and quaffable - almost like drinking Ribena! Perhaps a hint of chocolate and herbs with the blackcurrant and plum. A certain sweetness on the aftertaste and a lack of "bottom" are my minor quibbles — 10 years ago
Like fizzy Ribena. — 12 years ago
This leather daddy has cedar and tar on the nose, with heavy blackberry, ripe plum and Ribena-gone-wild notes in the mouth. Smooth but not unnoticed tannins; ready to drink but worth holding on to for a few more years. — 9 years ago
Beginning to wish i didn't open this soon. Still feeling quite restrained, there's somr bright acidity to it and fine tannins. Interesting in the sense that there's no obvious primary fruit jumping out of the glass however the aromas are very seductive. Aromas of roasted meats, fennel, anise, wood fire, roasted parsnips, savoury spice and the feintest of ribena and underripe blackberry poking through. Palate is very dark and a small bitter chocolate comes through with sour blackberries. — 9 years ago

Plum, smoke, ribena, smokey, leather and savoury. Juicy red fruits on the palate, slightly oaky. — 10 years ago
Expensive Ribena — 11 years ago
A bit light and very, very fruity with a lot of blackberry. Tastes a little like an alcoholic Ribena. — 12 years ago
Big Wave Dave
Prunes and blackcurrant on the nose. Big extracted style. Almost syrupy. Ribena without enough water. Still some grip on the back end but not enough structure to balance the mass of fruit — 9 years ago
