Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺 — 8 years ago
Wow what a great wine... — 9 years ago
Complete unadulterated decadence. Rich raisin fruit and toffee. This wine needs to be treated like a single lick of an ice cream cone. To fully appreciate, keep on the tip of the tongue. — 9 years ago

Never heard of this grape. Very nice heavy body. Apricot? Mandarin? Enjoyed the wine. — 8 years ago
Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 9 years ago
raisin, apricot, aged 8 years. goes well with desserts and foie nigiri — 10 years ago
Browned butter, caramel, toasted pecans. Evaporates on the palette leaving diaphanous notes of caramelized buttery joy. A Chianti masquerading as a sherry. One of the most delicious wines, or liquids for that matter, I've ever tasted. First had from the winery in Tuscany. Will always be a favorite. 2005 vintage — 10 years ago
Classic barolo with nice mature earthy floral aromas. Used to be available @gramercytavern — 10 years ago

Sulfur free barbera. So fresh and alive. Really bright crunchy cranberry, raspberrry, pomegranate. — 6 years ago
Expressive nose of sweet and sour cherries, blue berries, incense, and dried flower. Round and bright palate with medium to high acidity and soft bittersweet tannins. From a tiny 2/3 of a hectare family holding of the Santo Stefano di Perno vineyard, aged for 18 months in used Slovakia oak barrel, this Barbera shows exceptional freshness and purity of the fruits at this young age, but also has depth and structure to age further. — 7 years ago
Smooth, silky. The grapes are hand culled for several months. One of the best dessert wines I have ever tasted. — 9 years ago
Oro pajizo, en nariz potente , cítricos, notas de manzana verde y herbáceo. En boca densidad potencia, buen paso y final largo y goloso. — 10 years ago
Amazing! Rich, fruity, worths 100% its value! (~35€) — 10 years ago
Incredibly layered stuff, with teeth-staining minerality, balanced by rich fruit flavors, bordering on tropical with plenty of grilled lemon juiciness in reserve. Never-ending finish with a complex tannic grip providing lift and energy. Thru 2020, at least. — 10 years ago
Tasty dessert wine. First time trying a Greek. — 10 years ago
