Sweet wine from Australia. Surprisingly amazing! Deep Amber, smell of wood and "rhum raisin" Christmas cake like. Prune, mushroom, long finish, great with blue cheese. Somewhere in between a sauterne and a tawny port (if it's possible) — 10 years ago

Elegant, austere, , powerful, unique, divine. Ten years on yeasts. Intense parfume of a good dark rhum and then... toasted notes, dried fruit, hazelnut, raisins, honey, bread, a drop of oxydation. Pure warm sensations. An impressive structure. A beautiful intense yellow color. Infinite persistence. Unbalanced (for a millimeter) towards the line of rhum but it's, for sure, a masterpiece for its body and its originality. — 9 years ago

Fresh green beans at Stillwater's Rhum Bar in Beaufort, NC make a perfect finger food to dig into with this bright, crisp Rosè. The scene here is hard to beat with sea breezes, nice tunage, and good conversation..:) I usually insist on French, sometimes Spanish Rosè, but it is cool to see CA developing some fine stuff, as well:) — 11 years ago
