Stop!!! This is not a Alpine Beer, this was brewed by Green Flash, I have been to Alpine and have enjoy this beer, not to say it is a bad beer, but if you want the great beer that Alpine brews, you have to go to the brewery, it is in a Green Flash bottle and states it is brewed in San Diego, not Alpine, what is different is the Nelson hops are muted, it is more bitter, does not have the white wine characteristics, not a clean finish, wow, what a big disappointment, still a very good west IPA, but not world class as the original — 10 years ago
Where is the love for this lighter style IPA. I like it a lot. Beats a Goose IPA any day. Cheers to good low alco brews. — 10 years ago
Love me some Caldera Brews. No idea how this guy made it to an Albertsons in Scottsdale, but it's fantastic. — 11 years ago
He brews better than last one.
Light note, crispy good acid, smooth body with salty good minerals. — 11 years ago
Barrel aging removes some of the harshness but ramps up the subtleties. Complex beer. Closer to other traditional barrel aged brews than an IPA. Delicious but could be overly sweet for some. — 11 years ago
Had to follow Mark Lindzy's lead on Thanksgiving prep - creamy floral aroma - big malty flavors without heaviness - citric vanilla finish. Tanks a lot to Boulevard for more than just the great brews! — 11 years ago

Outstanding! One of the very most unique brews I have ever experienced. Spicy-- if I blind tasted it , I might think it a sparkling wine. Not to be missed if you get the chance to try it.

A very nice, medium/light beer. Would buy again. — 10 years ago
Tasty and flavorful, though it's hard to compare with gluten-full brews 🍺 — 11 years ago
Perfect for the over buttered Thanksgiving feast! Perfectly tart with oak and pumpkin without out all those adjunct spices that so often overpower pumpkin brews. — 11 years ago
This was an extremely well balanced sake. There were notes of melon and some floral overtones, complementing the overall flavor instead of competing for it like you find with other similar brews. Very well done. A solid 9.1 — 10 years ago
Love Cali craft brews. Perfect while grilling. — 10 years ago
I would classify this under "refreshing." Tons of IPAs are bold, sock you in the nose hoppy. This backs off the IBUs just slightly and adds a slight fruity/lemony finish that is, well, refreshing. I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't live in California and likely can't get their hands on nice craft brews like this. — 11 years ago
My sister says nice light beer, good lager for people that aren't obsessed with Micro brews and IPAs, ;) I heart my sister! — 11 years ago

This is a great Viking style brew. You know, compared to the other Viking style brews I've had..... — 10 years ago
