Great #Syrah from #Chile. Good consistency year after year. This vintage is a little boozy at 14.5%.

Layers of aromas from cherry licorice, raspberry, fresh boysenberry, blue flowers, and coco. Smooth palate, dry tannin. Black cherry, maraschino cherry. The palate is alc/tannin dominant for 2012. The weak spot for the wine. — 10 years ago
