This was decanted prior to me showing up so I can’t give a fresh out of the bottle prospectus but I did get little bit of tea and a faint cherry. Now to the good stuff. On the palate there was to me loganberry and cherry and a bit of graphite. It has a nice velvety texture that finished nicely. — 8 years ago
Bright salmon color. Racy aromas of acacia flowers, cantaloupe and citrus. Beams of peach, blood orange and strawberries are carried by a well balanced acidity. Lighter than I would have expected. It closes taut with a mineraly echo. — 9 years ago
Smooth and refreshing with notes of citrus and vanilla. A unique Pinot experience. — 9 years ago
Nose is linear and soft. Lime, beer foam, chalk, apple blossom. Palate is juicy, broad, mouth-filling with loads of golden apple, lime, rocks, and underripe melon. Zippy. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite dry hopped sours. — 10 years ago
Stoney, delicate candied lemon nose. Back of the mouth lemon rinds, pebble/stone minerals and a hint of leaf before the finish. Nerve and poise but with a rounded resolution. — 11 years ago
No detailed notes as we were at dinner with friends. Three Somm’s present for dinner and all thought this was wine of the night. I was one of them.
I believe their 15 is even better than their fantastic 2010.
If you are not familiar with this producer & terroir, I highly recommend you do. It remains under most consumers radar. I should probably stay silent on it as it will only drive up demand and price. But, good wine is meant to be shared with people who know how to appreciate it. This is around $55 on pre-arrival and $70ish if not bought on pre-arrival.
Olivier Lamy left the family Domaine to learn from other producers before returning to his family Domaine. He made Méo-Camuzet for few years just before his return.
The body was thick and slightly waxy. Nice green apple, pineapple, lime, honeysuckle, fruit blossoms with excellent round acidity, texture, elegant and well polished finish.
Recommend you slightly over chill it and decant it for an hour if you drink it this young. After it hour, it really blossoms.

Rare 96RP Priorat, only 1,008 bottles @ €146+ that's just beautiful & will age into 96-98 divinity 😍 Mrs E says "It's as smooth as Antonio Banderas' moves" I said "No as smooth as Penelope Cruz breasts" 😁

— 9 years ago
A really interesting wine, seems fortified on the nose but not so much when you taste it. A little salt and lots of complexity and length. Also a really nice colour. — 10 years ago
Strong alcohol on the nose also currants. Cherries and blackberries, a bit of pepper and spice. Lighter and fruitier. — 11 years ago
Very smooth, good mix of flavors — 11 years ago
It has notes of tart fruit and you can really get the mineral taste. This wine was really good with shellfish! — 12 years ago
Like this wine but doesn’t have the power that some of his other wines have pencil lead iron cherry fruit - liked it from an aromatic standpoint more than flavor and finish — 8 years ago
Very delicately perfumed, minerally, and steely, which to me is the make up of a feminine wine. We enjoyed this with tzatziki, pantzaria, lavraki, and many more delicious Greek food. — 9 years ago
Lead to believe that the 14' is going to be relatively hard to live up to but this is pretty damn enjoyable regardless. The thick, oily texture here could be possibly confused as potential barrel work, especially served warm, but don't let that fool you. Wet stones, chlorine, green apple and white peach aromas. The palate has a gob-tonne of green apple but despite that oily texture there's plenty of acidity here too — 9 years ago
The nose is so feminine and perfumed with dark fruits, savory spices, and earth. Fuller bodied and structured with gripping tannins. Vineyard has southern orientation=warmer=more massive expression of Carignan — 10 years ago
Strawberry, raspberry, tar, coffee and sour cherry. Smooth and light mouth feel. Great value I expect it to be in my collection of go-tos. — 11 years ago
Ripe red fruit, forest floor and that kind of muddy, chocolatey thing you get with Bordeaux sometimes, a bit of Bret as well. Organic/bio dynamic. Vineyard is circled by vines whose only duty is to protect the inner vines from surrounding vineyards who use pesticides. #asp — 11 years ago
One of the 2-3 top wines of the trip! — 11 years ago

Nice amount of oakiness without being overly done
Fun with sweet potato

Spicy nose. Chocolate and brown nuts. Plum. Lots of it. Unsweet red candy and full finish. Delightful — 7 years ago
