Hahahahahaha! Oh this one is a bitch. She tricked me into thinking she was corked the ENTIRE first night this was open. First time I was forced to leave her on the counter feeling rejected. Left it for 2 nights and redemption has become! Reminded me almost to an exact tee of the Balthazar Cornas chaillot. Tons of violets with a massive attack of limestone and granite making her a warrior of extreme grace. Cheers to opening this little girl. She's fierce and just barely forgiving if you have the patience. — 10 years ago
Redemption 10 year Barrel Proof Straight Rye Whiskey — 10 years ago
"You need to eat more meat to get better" is what my butcher told me today- and I took it to heart. The redemption of this once boring, monolithic Bordeaux has given me optimism. Four years ago this wine was boring, now it is graceful. Big dark currant fruit and earth are matched by pure claret lift... I'lll be looking forward to the other bottles whenever- this wine will out live me! — 10 years ago
Very green and disjointed upon opening. 4 hours later. Approaching total redemption. Love me some Pessac — 9 years ago
Tannic, very dark, robust. Scent of cherries? Went well with drowning out my grandmother narrating alongside The Shawshank Redemption. — 9 years ago
Previous vintages have been questionable, but the 2012 is rocking. Deep, complex, and luxurious, with robust ripe tannin. Let it open up over an hour or two. Redemption tastes good. — 10 years ago
So much better than that bottle of barnyard I brought to the party the other night. Regrets. Redemption. We hope. — 10 years ago
Redemption — 10 years ago
Dried plums, red currant and a distinctive "soil" component which I really liked. Some CO2 in the beginning, disappears after two minutes. Extremely drinkable. Pepper kick on the back-end. — 9 years ago

This site continues to be one of my favorite - such tension and redemption. Acid and floral, peach, nectarine, herbs and quince. — 11 years ago

I really like this rich cab. Great luscious mouthfeel and great black and red fruit. As much as I disliked their 2011, this vintage was a redemption. — 9 years ago
