Friendsgiving. Magnum. Old Napa! 27 years. Loved it β 5 months ago
Medium ruby in color; black cherries, plums, and cedar on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins, but smooth; tastes like blackberries, cherries, and a hint of bell pepper witha long finish. Not as complex as I would like, but pretty good. β 2 years ago

This one comes from a certified sustainable farm, with blackberry and dried cranberry character, a bit sweet and fruity at the end which makes it perfect for drinking by itself, it wonβt go wrong with a nice steak! β 6 years ago
A little heavier than I remember but fully mature and fun to drink with friends. β 6 years ago

Softened, earthy spices with a velvety mouth feel. Tannins notable, yet not overpowering. A beautiful complement to panko encrusted lamb with anchovy butter. β 9 months ago
Black berry aroma and taste. Smooth tannins and mild acidity. Just a tad tart on the finish. β 2 years ago
This is awesome! β 4 years ago
I usually tend toward Pinot Noir, but when I want something just a bit bolder, Gamay hits the spot. I have really been enjoying this 2015 vintage. β 7 years ago
Has a Toasty finish β 7 years ago
Well balanced fruit without the hit you over the head sweetness of some Zin blends β 9 years ago

drinking perfectly now. enjoy! β 4 months ago
This is a very distinctive, powerful and deep Zinfandel from Lodi, California. Vertically Sourced and produced by Oak Ridge from its own ancient +100-year-old vines. It packs tons of dark cherry and berries and is very chocolaty, since this is a reserve version, the lingering oak and texture is very long but not overwhelming. β 5 months ago
Nose presents baking spices and a touch of soft brown sugar. Palate is dense and layered, as usual for this producer (before the winery changed hands the first time around). Notes of coffee, tobacco and maple syrup come through on the mid palate. Nice tannin/acidity combination complete what is a classic BV presentation. Drink these within the 24 months. This winery has been on the slide ever since Ed Snyder and team departed. I tasted some of the 18βs and 19βs and they were a mere shadow of the previous product.
