Light, good complexity, slight spicy fruitiness — 10 years ago
What a find and a wonderful expression of the Pinot Noir grape. I just happened to pick this up the other day because it was an end of bin sale and I got it for a steal. After tasting this I would happily pay full price for this if I were to find it again. I paid $19.99 for this and it was.listed at $42.99. I love these types of burgundian wines.
On the nose I get very expressive fresh picked strawberries, red raspberry, fresh cherry, hints of roses and nice forest floor.
The palate is full of red raspberry, tart strawberries, and a very nice herbaceous quality.
There is mouth watering medium + acidity and a smooth medium tannin with a good long finish which I truly like. I am so pleased with this wine I can't begin to say. It has been awhile since I had the like of this. Very nice! — 10 years ago

Man oh man! Best wine I've tasted all year. — 12 years ago
An outstanding producer, the fruit quality and the winemaking rival the very best in Burgundy. Concentration and dimension combined with the aromas and flavors that surround the palate. The structure has a complete integrity and the surface has an immaculate polish. — 6 years ago
2014 vintage. Should be listed as 1st Cru Les Margotes Chardonnay. — 9 years ago
Thought it was a new world pinot. Fairly simple but very good at this price range!! — 10 years ago
This is the chardonnay, Not the Pinot Noir. — 10 years ago
Sorry not Bordeaux!!!! Just Beautiful Pinot — 11 years ago
This wine is first floral, second fruity, and third (but not by much!) quite spicy. Lots of roses are balanced by ripe red cherries and swirls of juniper, cinnamon, and black peppercorn. Otherwise completely finessed and utterly drinkable, holding this back are some rustic cranberry notes in the otherwise satisfying finish. — 11 years ago
Fungal, forrest floor, dirty but light elegant with juicy acidity keeping it bright and cheerful. — 12 years ago

Bit shy nose. High toned profile with red berries and pronounced acidity. Very fine tannins. Lacks a bit midpalate depth. Kept improving during the 3h in decanter thus probably 1-3 years from peak — 8 years ago
Correct, not awe inspiring — 10 years ago
So so generous at it's age — 11 years ago
Wonderful complement to my lamb bhuna. Lively with hints of fresh cranberries and dried raspberries. Good choice. — 11 years ago
Really, really nice! Fresh and easygoing. Had a limey, Vernay-ish character. Good value. — 12 years ago

Bright, clear ruby. Shy (at first) nose of musty black cherry. Medium bodied palate of leathery cherry and birch. Not fruity by any stretch. Medium plus acidity and medium tannins make this a quintessential French food wine, a compliment to any place you’d normally take French Pinot Noir or Gamay. A perfect wine for rich fares of all cuisines. I’m upscaling my frozen pepperoni pizza. — 6 years ago
