Delicious! Very nice fruit driven but had substantial body — 10 years ago
So it's apparently International Chardonnay Day so I dug around the cellar a couple times until I landed on this 2011 Sand and Gravel Chardonnay from Ravine. After a quick trip into the freezer to cool it down to normal drinking temperature, I poured a glass. Tasty juice! The colour is a straw yellow, the nose has citrus notes. The citrus develops nicely with other fruit notes coming out. Acidity balances the alcohol to leave a smooth medium length finish. I'm pretty impressed at the quality for the cost. — 10 years ago

Canadian Niagara Cab Franc with tangy spice and black fruit. Excellent texture and finish that easily competes with the best. 90 — 10 years ago

Rick and I went to Ravine winery in Geneva New York and we really enjoyed every wine tasted. But we like the Riesling the best. You should go there is a little hidden gem. — 12 years ago
Opulent and rich Napa cab that flows like a ravine. Dark plum. Nutmeg. Black cherry. Subtle and elegant at the same time. Great depth — 12 years ago
Sweet, fantastic fruit flavour — 12 years ago
Best I've had to date. Incredible stuff. Black and thick. Cherry, dark fruits. Perfectly balanced. There can't be another Canadian red that comes close to this! — 10 years ago
Very yummy. — 10 years ago
Red licorice and spicy notes with jammy but not too heavy berry flavours. — 10 years ago
Really like it. Big tannins and medium finish. Classy. Cab Francs can be ashy, bit smokey and lopsided. This one stands on its own. Balanced! — 11 years ago
