Nice crisp drinking. — 7 years ago
Friday night random whites...
Fresh, clean and refreshing, light White peach notes. Nose is attractive, but a little too cold on first taste, so slightly closed initially.
Off-dry blend of NY's Finger Lakes region Cayuga & Vignoles, nose is really opening up nicely with some air and warming of the wine in the glass. Not overly complex, but this is a solid buy for the $10/$13 (wine club/retail) price. — 8 years ago
A touch less sweet than moscato and a little crisper. — 9 years ago
Nice, easy, summer night on the patio, kind of wine. — 9 years ago
Crisp and slightly citrusy. A bit sweet, but not too much so. Very pleasant. — 10 years ago
Classic black tea and violet notes. Can't ever seem to get enough Cab Franc. — 10 years ago
I tend toward dry wines but I am so pleased I branched out and got a bottle of this in KCMO. It is a delicious drinkable tropical fruit salad. A semi sweet with the palest yellow green hue, the sweet- tart combination of dried pineapple, mango, and honey really sings. Excellent summer sipping wine. — 6 years ago
My wife liked this one enough that I did not even get to try it. — 8 years ago
Pear, lemon curd, pineapple, grapefruit, honey, limestone and hints of tropical fruit. Great acidity and balance. — 8 years ago
When we go to the vineyard this is usually what my hubby and I get. Sweet and refreshing. Great with Food platter. — 9 years ago
Peaches, honey, a nice herbal undertone and some bitterness/tannin that help round out the finish on this unique FLX ice wine. #sweetwineisnotacrime #demisec — 9 years ago
Quite sweet, Nathan doesn't like. — 10 years ago
Geeked, friend brought me wine from Missouri. Blend of American/European Hybrids, specifics not stated, though could include Vidal Blanc, Seyval and Vignoles. Gewürztraminer-like aromatics, which leads me to think of Traminette. 12% ABV — 7 years ago
An amazing semi-dry white. Smooth yet so many flavours. The taste reminds me of autumn — 7 years ago
Nice pineapple aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Sweeter white wine but smooth taste. Not too sweet. Fruity great wine on its own or paired with cheese. — 9 years ago
Very juicy and fruity, some sweetness but not cloying — 10 years ago
Fascinating take on vignoles. Bone dry and one of the most tannic whites I've ever tasted. Chilled it was just too harshly structured and lacking fruit. At room temp it blossomed with dried pineapple and apricot. Long and almost gritty finish. Not for everyone. And not going to impressed within 30 seconds. Take your time and tease out the layers and complexity. — 10 years ago
