First wine from Raul Pérez, first Godello (I think)...
What a wine!
The nose is made of lemon peel, white pear, white flowers, almond milk... The palate is very well made with a strong acid drive, making the wine fresh and dynamic. There is a good width, some peary notes all along, a bid wide, spherical mid palate, and a long, powerful and everlasting finish with pear, lemon peel notes that goes for ever and bit. Wow what a wine! I love it! — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 Sketch pours a bright straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is youthful with fascination notes of white and yellow flowers, nettles, lemon, strawberry, orange pith, hot steel, wet stone, and oh the minerals! On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is so long and ever so saline. This was my first bottle of Sketch (finally!) which has been a bit of a unicorn wine for me. I’ve long had a deep respect for Raul Pérez but this wine has confirmed a special place reserved in my heart for him. They say once bitten… Drink now through 2039. — 7 hours ago
Such an amazing wine, I feel the Chablis comments are right on, but the touch of reductive notes gives it the depth of a well aged wine from a perfect vintage — 7 months ago
Unique amber nectar that aged amazingly - paired with Portuguese clams and shrimp risotto. — 10 months ago
Delicious. Very hearty without too much tanin. Just a nicely balanced. — 2 months ago
For a varietal that leans to higher extraction this was restrained. Vibrant. Carried on for hours. — 8 months ago
Raul Perez is a bit of a wine rock star, so I admittedly came to this 17$ entry level new project of his (with the Prieto varietal) with baited breath…& it did not disappoint. It drinks like…surprise.. a baby Morgon, with clean red cherries set in a fairly mineral frame. Quite lush on the nose. Not for acid hounds per se but still so vital & fresh. — 2 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over lunch at Buvette. Deep ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some slight signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of funky-fresh tart cherries, some horse stable, blackberries, pomegranate, river rocks. On the palate the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with some grippy minerals. Lovely with lunch! Drink now through 2032. — 11 days ago
