I mean where’s so much hyped smoke there’s got to be legitimate fire. — 6 years ago
Medium translucent ruby in color. Aromas of raspberry, root beer, cinnamon, caramel, and crème brûlée. Concentrated on the palate but with good acidity and flavors of raspberries and licorice leading to a long finish featuring fine grained tannins. Made with only 2% whole clusters then aged 15 months in 44% new French oak. Typical Russian River Valley fruit done up in Kosta Browne style. 14.3% ABV. — 7 years ago
Black cherry, cranberry, red raspberry. Big and delicious.

An overall translucent red with a broad crimson core extending to a thick ruby border with a thin orange brick rim. Medium plus intensity of aroma in the nose floral dominant and mineral driven (chalk). Rose petal, dried green herbs, tomato leaf. Subtle fruit aromas are ripe, red cherry candy, raspberry jam. Tactile sensations initially dominate the palate, high levels of acid and chalky astringency linger with medium plus alcohol 13.5%ABV but ultimate reveals a seductive mouth filling, medium finish featuring fresh red fruit perfume, ripe red cherry, basil, black pepper, and a touch of savory bacon, black olive, and wood smoke — 9 years ago
The nose is a nice blend of chocolate covered raisins, black cherry, vanilla, black raspberry and blackberries. The nose is confirmed on the palette, but in a dry, pleasant way. Not a fruit bomb, nice touch of earth. — 10 years ago
Still raspberry heaven. — 10 years ago
A nice wine with an enticing aroma. Slightly jammy with a hint of smokiness and a delightful hint of raspberry jam. — 10 years ago
Recommended to me from this site. It was stellar. Lush red raspberry, rich cassis and bright currants to add acidity. I loved this wine. Can't wait for the Chardonnay! $45 / 92pts — 12 years ago
Hot iron, iodine, olive tapenade, beef, creosote, curing salt, pink peppercorn, talcum, garrigue, scorched earth, granite, black raspberry liquor, grapefruit, crushed cherry, creme de cassis, rose petals. Ripe, full of flesh with sinew to back it up, found the balance quite remarkable here. The sun and warmth is felt in the generosity, but the tannins and acidity are well within reason. Granite and iron still at its core. — 5 years ago
Profoundly earthy, with a great helping of pyrazine. Restrained fruit- blackberry and raspberry, and a garden-full of freshly turned soil, herbs and spices. Great balance of acid and tannin. Rustic and compelling - curious to see where this goes in a few more years. — 7 years ago

Raspberry, red currant, white and black pepper, very earthy. Give it a few minutes and it's awesome. — 9 years ago
Pours a brill black red color with very appealing and aromatic dark berry, briary, peppery spice and a hint of eucalyptus aromas. On the palate it's very fresh with mouth watering acidity, round and intensely delicious with blackberry, black raspberry, and baking spice flavors and a giving finish 100% Zinfandel #enofylzwineblog — 9 years ago

Staying with the 🇮🇹 - Sassicaia means “place of many stones”. Roger that. Star anise, cherry and hints of raspberry. 💣🍷 — 7 years ago
On the nose, I pick up musty and but of dust along with strawberry and raspberry. A touch of leather.
It drinks very well. With delicate tannins. Tastes of berry and is fruit forward. More strawberry and raspberry. Slightly dry finish and raspberry lingers on the tongue.
Really great wine and is my favorite PN right now. Serving it with prime rib tonight. — 7 years ago
Smell like a rose in the rain. Cherry, raspberry, perfect harmony of acid, ripeness, body melds into an ever so graceful finish. String of minerality throughout. Vg — 8 years ago

Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-bodied. Bright red fruits on the nose and strawberry, raspberry, cherry & plum on the palate. Additionally, there is a light touch of forest floor, earthiness ending with a soft dry finish. Glad to be back supporting & enjoying some local outdoor dinner spots! Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago
