Light apple and grapey finish. — 9 years ago
The quality of the 2009 vintage comes through here. Very good on day one, even better on day two. Excellent purity of fruit and a stellar and long finish are this wine's hallmarks. Great aging potential. — 9 years ago
Everything you would hope from a chardonnay and more. Beautiful nose of honeydew melon, apple pie, smoke, and fig preserves. The palate was fresh and rich with subtle hints of oak on the core of baked apple and orange zest. Drinking perfectly right now - and probably will stay in this style for another 2-3 years('15-'17). Absolutely stunning and breathtaking example of chardonnay. — 11 years ago
Minty herbs, lemon verbena, ruby red grapefruit, tropical overtones
Fuller bodied with concentrated citrus flavors with hints of guava and papaya. Herbal edge is faint, but there. Long, lingering finish. Mouth-filling but well balanced by gravelly acidity. — 11 years ago

Such great value! While I feel doesn't have the Bereche typicity, it's so elegant and poised. Fruiter, more powerful, less mineral, but bolstered by racy acidity.
I think Vinous nails my tasting notes, so I'm just gonna leave that here:
"The 2008 Côte Premier Cru, a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from Vertus, is striking. Translucent and expressive, the 2008 captures a gorgeous, crystalline expression of Vertus Chardonnay, with a little added body and texture from the Pinot. Sweet floral and honeyed notes wrap around the expressive, precise finish. There is a lot to like here. Dosage is 6 grams/liter." — 7 years ago

2008. Really good! — 11 years ago
Disappointingly oaky, but otherwise ok. Some green apple acidity, and a little honey/vanilla. Actually a little more likeable as it warmed up in the glass. — 12 years ago
Oh jeez! Gorge. Tart cherry. Magical! — 12 years ago

Solid yet another underwhelming Mersault...a little too light bodied...maybe that’s M? Seems to be a trend. — 7 years ago
